I have been remodeling homes in Northeast Ohio since 1999. Not as a franchise. Not as a regional chain. As a craftsman who knows these neighborhoods, knows these homeowners, and knows the standards that the most thoughtfully maintained homes in Summit County deserve. I started AK Renovations with one belief: that the person you meet on the first day should be the same person on the job site every day.

I live in Cuyahoga Falls with my wife Erin and our four children, who attend Woodridge Local Schools. This community is not just a service area. It is home. When I take on a project in Hudson or Bath Township or Fairlawn, I am working on the kind of home I want to be proud of driving past for the next 40 years. My investment in the community goes beyond the job site. I actively partner with local trade school programs to bring high school students into real projects, because I believe the craft is worth passing on.

I am not a traditional contractor. I have built and deployed custom AI systems across all of my businesses. At AK Renovations, AI-powered project management tools handle scheduling, material sourcing, job site coordination, and client communication in a way that no other remodeling contractor in Summit County is doing. The result is faster timelines, on-budget results, and a level of transparency that keeps every homeowner fully informed without having to ask. This is not technology for its own sake. It is technology in service of craftsmanship and trust.

My passion for building great businesses extends beyond my own. I know firsthand how hard it is to run a skilled trade business, manage projects, communicate with clients, and still find time for family. That experience drove me to build tools and systems specifically for trade contractors, because I believe the best craftspeople deserve the best business infrastructure.
